Ahh…bonjour Montréal !

I had the pleasure of going back to Montréal this summer – I hadn’t been since I was a kid! There are a few places that I remembered vividly since my childhood summer vacations, but also many that I got to see for the first time walking around the city by myself. Montréal is definitely the most European style city in Canada (although some would argue that Québec City takes the top spot) – great transit connections, multilingual population yet narrow streets, cars zooming by constantly honking at bad drivers, pot holes everywhere, small apartments, etc. But Montréal has a charm that you can’t ignore – it’s restaurants, vibrant night life, European architecture, and summer events.
